The last couple Greens & Blues shows for 2024 are happening this week in Bristol (Friday, 6th September) and in St Ives Cambridge (Thursday, 12th September). Aaron Catlow & I have loved our tour this year. A big, big thank you to all the venues and festivals for having us to play. And big love to the audiences for coming out to see us. SONG ROOTS TOUR
Inspired by a couple of ‘songwriter-in-the-round’ shows I did at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville eons ago, I asked my friend Vera van Heeringen if she'd like to do a song-swap tour. By that I mean a tour where we not only play songs together but solo as well. Happily she said yes and dates went in the diary. We're dividing the show into 3-parts: duets, Vera solo and Brooks solo. I've got some new songs to showcase, Vera's got her songs and we've also got some we'll play together. Two voices, two acoustic guitar, sometimes acoustic guitar and mandolin!
