YouTube Debut

I've moved my online home to YouTube and will make my debut on Thursday. My friends at Uxbridge Folk Club, where I was meant to play in-person in October, are co-sponsoring and they suggested I plan my songs around the theme Rivers And Seas. I've taken their challenge and that's what I'm going to endeavour to do. Perhaps Backwater Blues? Inland Sailor maybe? Something old. Something new. Drop by if you can and leave a note in the CHAT. A HOLIDAY SINGLE

I revisited my holiday song Shaking These Christmas Blues and created Version 2020 with my friends Aaron Catlow (fiddle), Phil Richardson (piano) and Lukas Drinkwater (double bass). We recorded virtually - that’s our thing now, right? - between Cambridge, Gloucester, Tyneside and Bath UK. I love what they brought to the song. As the events of this year have been so challenging to so many people this year, I am inspired to donate the proceeds of this 'single' MIND, one of the UK’s prominent mental health charities. SOUTH HILL - By Request
The last of the requests received over the last few months is another song from my guitar repertoire. This is called South Hill. South Hill is a part of Ithaca, New York. The sky is pretty vast and clear, and at night the stars stretch as far as the eye can see. Many thanks to Ken & Tom for the request. If you like the video, please share it.
